THE HISTORY OF THE CLUB
BANDJOS FOOTBALL CLUB
IS MUCH MORE THAN A TEAM.
It all began in 2010 with a group of soccer enthusiasts united by a shared desire: to play, share, and create something together. Initially, the team was called "La Bande à Joe", a recreational version founded by
Pascal Boisgibault, a founding member of the club (bottom left in the photo).
The name originated from a simple and true story. At the time, Pascal played on a mixed team where only one girl, named Joe, was part of the group. Naturally, the team was nicknamed "La Bande à Joe".
A friendly name, reflecting the spirit that drives the group: camaraderie, fun, and a passion for the game.
In 2011, a new chapter began. Vincent Garcia immigrated to Canada and was looking for a team to continue pursuing his passion for soccer. By responding to a classified ad posted online, he joined the team. This arrival marked a turning point: the group evolved, grew, became more structured… and gradually adopted a new name.
Thus, the Bandjos Football Club was officially born.
From its inception, the club has been built on strong values: friendship, respect, perseverance, and a love of the game.
More than just a team, the Bandjos Football Club is a family,
a collective united by the same energy and the same pride in wearing its colors.
The story continues to unfold, season after season, thanks to all those who have worn, are wearing, and will wear the club's jersey.
